It is spring (during the first 2 weeks of April) in the Ozarks and the start of the Branson theater Season. To kick off
the year, Branson 'Fest'
is a
five-day showcase event featuring area theaters, attractions, arts, cultural displays,
and fun for all.
Every afternoon their "Super Shows"
consists of a 3 hour program with short samples by the different show in
town. Each theater production performs about a 20 minute
sample of their normal show, so we get to see 8 or 9 performances at a
Super Show.
Outside they will have displays from
different theaters and attractions in town and hourly door prize
drawings. There is also an entertainmenttent
with free local performers.
A tour to Branson 'Fest' would also include morning and
evening shows as part of the itinerary. This is a wonderful festival and
a great idea for a spring adventure. We get
to see a lot of different shows in a short period of time.
