DAY
1 Board
the motorcoach for a relaxing trip to Colorado
Springs. Tonight we will enjoy a wonderful “get acquainted dinner” with
live country western entertainment. (D)
DAY
2 After
breakfast the motorcoach will depart Colorado Springs and head south to
Albuquerque, New Mexico. We will check into our hotel and relax for a while. At
about 4:30 pm we will travel over to the Balloon Field for Balloon
Glow - as the balloons light up the sky this evening. Dinner tonight is on
your own at the festival grounds from the numerous food venders at the park.
After Glow “Fireworks” Show
is presented after the Balloon Glow by the Albuquerque Journal. (CB)
DAY
3
All up! You'll witness an incredible "Special
Shape Mass Ascension" as hundreds of balloons take to the air
simultaneously. You just cannot imagine the spectacle that is created by the
vivid colors and sights and sounds of hot air balloons on the rise.
Then, take a walk through time as we stroll through the centuries-old
historic buildings of Old Town.
Everyone is on their own this afternoon for shopping and lunch in Old Town.
There is time to rest at our hotel this afternoon before we board our
coach again to return to the Balloon Field for another Balloon
Glow - as the balloons light up the sky. Dinner this evening is again on
your own at the park. After Glow “Fireworks” Show
is presented again after the Balloon Glow by the Albuquerque Journal. (CB)
DAY
4 Again
this morning we witness our second "Mass
Ascension" and again hundreds of balloons take off together.
After the morning balloon festival
activities we pickup our bags, enjoy a buffet lunch, and head north. We will
travel to Santa Fe, New Mexico where we will check into our hotel. After
relaxing it is off to catch the train
for a cozy ride from Santa Fe to the almost ghost-town of Lamy, NM.
We will experience the frustrating beauty of the winter high desert while
riding in the warm comfort of a vintage rail cars. This will be a fun Saturday
night with live music and a savory barbecue supper around the campfire.

5
Drive into Denver. Lunch today is
on your own at one of our travel breaks. Supper is included at Casa Bonita restaurant - Casa Bonita has been the funnest and
tastiest place to eat in Denver for nearly thirty years. Witness their brave
cliff divers plunging from a spectacular 30-foot waterfall into our 14 feet deep
pool. Don't miss Casa Bonita's fire
juggling cliff divers as they juggle flaming torches and perform death defying
dives into the lagoon below. Watch their "gorilla trainer" chase down
Chiquita - their 500 pound gorilla. Amusement
arcade, Strolling Mariachi Bank, puppets, magicians, games, prizes and authentic
Mexican dancers are also part of the fun this evening. (CB, D)

6 Drive
from Denver home. Lunch is on your own this afternoon.
