Tour Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park

This will be one of your most memorable days featuring Rocky Mountain National Park as you will take a scenic drive through the aspens and pines up to the 9,475-foot level to enjoy the serenity of Bear Lake and 400-year old spruce trees. Next we will travel up Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous road in the U.S., marveling at the spectacular scenery of the majestic mountains in which 107 peaks tower over 11,000 feet high.  Also enjoy the wildlife including deer, elk, and bighorn sheep.

Overnight in Loveland - lunch is on your own in the park, breakfast, lodging and dinner are included.

3rd Day - Wednesday

Tour of the Colorado Springs area

This morning we start our day with a guided tour of Loveland. We will tour Benson Park featuring a variety of beautiful bronze sculptures. Also included is a special stop at a unique artist gallery north of town.

From here it is about 2 hours to Colorado Springs where we have a step-on-guide waiting for us. Our city tour includes stops at: Garden of the Gods - Tour the cathedral-like park of striking red rocks and deep green foliage that area pioneers labeled the Garden of the Gods in 1859. The 3-million-year-old formation is a tribute to nature's craftsmanship.  United States Air Force Academy - Stop at the Visitors Center and Cadet Chapel.

Overnight in Colorado Springs for the next 2 days - lunch is on your own at one of our stops, breakfast, lodging and dinner are included.

4th Day - Thursday

Pikes Peak and the Manitou Cliff Dwellings

This morning after our continental breakfast we are off to Pikes Peak. We will take the Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway for a spectacular journey to the 14,110-foot summit of Pikes Peak.

Next stop is at Manitou Cliff Dwellings - Explore the dwellings room by room of the Anasazi Indian’s of 700 years ago. Wander through “The Pueblo” a three-story dwelling which displays the architecture of ancient culture.

Pikes Peak Ghost Town - authentically reconstructed old west mining town. An exciting place to spend some time.

Seven Falls - The sight of water cascading 300 feet down a sheer granite cliff is breathtaking. This is “the grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado” - we drive along a box canyon, and see some amazing rock formations getting to the falls.

Iron Springs Chateau - This delightful evening begins with a delicious family-style dinner of beef ribs and oven-fried chicken with all of the trimming. Then on to a hilarious melodrama production.  After that show get ready for a foot-stomping sing-along and vaudeville production.

5th Day - Friday

Royal Gorge and Royal Gorge Route

After our continental breakfast, we are off for another adventurous day!

Royal Gorge - where the world’s highest suspension bridge soars 1,053 feet above the Arkansas River. A thrilling aerial tram and incline railway add to this wonderful stop.
