                                                 Day One - Arrive in Las Vegas
Welcome to a tour of neon and nature starting with your arrival in Las Vegas. Your tour director is available late this afternoon to assist you upon arrival. Then the night is yours to sample the neon and laser magic of the Fremont Street Experience located next to your hotel.

                                Day Two - Pipe Spring Monument and the Grand Canyon
Enjoy a welcome breakfast this morning before we head south into the desert to the Kaibab Indian Reservation, home of Pipe Spring National Monument. Later in the afternoon, the north rim of the Grand Canyon looms before us in its full splendor. For the next two nights we stay right in the national park. Our rustic lodging is just a few yards from the rim of the Canyon so you can take full advantage of this natural wonder. This evening we dine on the rim of the Canyon at the North Rim Lodge with picture windows that give you a front row seat to the majestic colors created off the canyon walls as the sun sets in the west.

                                   Day Three - Explore the Grand Canyon
If you've never seen the Grand Canyon, nothing can prepare you for this spectacular sight. Enjoy a tour of the Grand Canyon this morning. Millions of years in the making, the canyon was carved by the powerful Colorado River.

                                                Day Four - Lake Powell 
The crystal clear water of Lake Powell will be your roadway today as we enjoy a boat ride among the long winding canyons and sheer cliff walls. Watch the shoreline for the abundant native wildlife that will be pointed out by a local guide. Tonight we dine at the elegant Rainbow Room Restaurant at Wahweap Lodge. This glass-walled restaurant has hosted dignitaries from around the world.

                                                Day Five - Monument Valley
As we travel into the Navajo Indian Reservation this morning you'll get a feel for the Old West. A Native American will be our tour guide, pointing out the history of this region. In Monument Valley we'll pass sandstone monuments that rise more than 1,000 feet in vertical splendor. Lunch is a Western-style cookout in the heart of the red rock buttes that dominate the park. For the next two nights we stay in Moab, Utah, with time to stroll the streets of this quaint western town.

                     Day Six - Arches National Park and the Colorado River
Arches National Park contains the largest concentration of stone arches in the world. Marvel at the towering monoliths that appear to defy gravity. We picnic on the edge of the Colorado River before boarding a raft for a float trip on this famous river. During the leisurely ride our oarsman will tell us tales of the area as we explore river passages with names like Fisher Towers and Professor Valley

                                    Day Seven - Capitol Reef National Park
Our first stop this morning is in Utah's Deadhorse Point State Park, a promontory of stone surrounded by steep cliffs that formed a natural corral for cowboys capturing the area's wild mustangs. In the afternoon we visit Capitol Reef National Park with its unique vaulted white cliffs and geometric stone domes.

                                       Day Eight - Bryce Canyon National Park
We get an idea of the impact that the ancient cliff dwellers had on this region with a stop at the Anasazi Indian Village State Park before we arrive in Bryce Canyon. Spires, spindles and cliffs in red, gold and orange make this a favorite national park for many. We then travel to the entrance of Zion National Park where we stay for two nights.

                                              Day Nine - Zion National Park
The first settlers in the area referred to Zion as "The Heavenly City of God" and you'll discover why. Sheer cliffs and painted walls of color close in as we tour the canyon cut by the Virgin River. We'll have a guided tour to hidden waterfalls and abundant wildlife. Our Tour Director hosts a farewell dinner tonight amid the cliffs and valleys of this fantastic land.

                                         Day Ten - Las Vegas and Home
We follow the Virgin River into Nevada and back to the glitter of Las Vegas for our flights home 
after 1 p.m.
