  The Passing Show Panel  "Why do people read My Antonia?
Keynote Paper: Ann Romines, George Washington University

Afternoon Options between 1:30 and 4:30:
1:30-4:30 pm   Country tour:  Emphasis on places important in My Antonia including the Pavelka Farm and Cloverton Cemetery, Barb Kudrna and Don Connors. Leaders  
2:00-3:30 pm  OPERA HOUSE PREMIERE of Adaptation of "A Singer's Romance" A Play with Opera based on Willa Cather's short story by the same name. Commissioned by the Cather Foundation, written and directed by James E. Ford, starring Ariel Bybee, Mezzo Soprano.
1:30-4:30 pm Three discussion groups will meet simultaneously during this time. Participants may choose two different sessions or move freely from one discussion group to another.
